The Sempra Employee Giving Network (SEGN) is a nonprofit, public charity formed to facilitate support of community-based charitable groups by employees of the Sempra Energy family of companies and is exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. To comply with the IRS, the Sempra Employee Giving Network is required to file form 990F each year.
